inside out, norfolk retreat
feb 19-21, colton, uk

what to expect

a weekend of yoga, nourishment, and rest. this retreat is designed to help you break through the grey of the winter months and slowly and consciously plant a seed for the spring ahead.

after such a nourishing time in sicily, i’m excited to bring you to norfolk! a shorter but equally special break from everyday life in the city, i’m once again combining three of my favourite things: yoga, food and community.

And this time, I’m bringing some extra magic to the table. My partner, Laura, a highly experienced chef, will be joining us for the retreat and taking care of all the food — making sure we’re very well fed, nourished and thoroughly spoiled throughout our time together.

expect a space to slow down, reconnect and enjoy being looked after.

house of bohéme

Set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, this beautiful Mediterranean-style barn has been designed with intention. Just 2 hours from London, it’s a calming escape from the city, surrounded by nature and wildlife.

there is a fully equipped yoga studio, sauna & ice bath, wood-fired hot tub, hammocks & bamboo swing, and an indoor wood-burning fire (find me there with a book).

Founder, Jo, is a qualified sound healer, children’s yoga & mindfulness teacher, meditation and sister circle facilitator and is currently studying to become a shamanic kundalini yoga teacher. With a background as an Interior Stylist and having renovated several properties, House of Bohème combines her two main passions of wellbeing and home design.

Since launching, House of Bohème has worked with and raised £1000s for several charities including Choose Love, The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and World Central Kitchen.  they also regularly support people without homes directly by providing sleeping bags, blankets, hot meals and rooms in shelters.

To help offset emissions from their product shipments and deliveries, they have planted over 1000 trees through Ecologi.

rooms + booking + prices

similar to many retreats, most of the rooms are shared. sharing a space can be a really natural way to connect with others, and many people come on their own and leave having formed meaningful friendships. if you’re travelling solo and would like to share a room, i will make sure to put you together with someone thoughtfully. each room is slightly different, but all are lovely and carefully curated as spaces where you can be at ease during the stay.

The house offers spacious shared areas across two floors, including a large living room, dining space, office area and a dedicated, fully equipped yoga and meditation studio with mats, bolsters, cushions and blankets. There are two shared bathrooms for guests in the non-en-suite accommodation: one downstairs with a shower and one upstairs with a bath and shower.

to secure your space, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required upon booking, with the remaining balance due by january 10th, 2027.

if it feels more manageable, payment plans are available. you’re welcome to get in touch by email or note it on your booking form, and we can work something out.

please note: all rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

faqs

  • “mags is a wonderful teacher with a deep connection to the practice of yoga. mags’ teaching style is accessible to both those new to yoga and those with an established practice, offering many options, thoughtful sequencing, precise cues, and, most importantly, a space for you to make the practice your own. her classes, which combine breath and movement, are strong yet gentle, and leave you feeling both grounded and uplifted.”

    eve, group class student

  • “mags is a truly gifted yoga teacher and genuinely beautiful human. her classes leave me feeling refreshed, calm, fulfilled and ready to take on the week. she blends everything i love in a yoga class, the sounds, her words, her tone, the postures gliding from one to another, the positive affirmations in everything she says, from ‘follow your own breath’ to a golden nugget of wisdom. the thoughtfulness and care taken to craft each class is felt. she loves what she does and wants you to love it too - at your own pace, in your own energy, following your own breath. she guides, doesn’t force. i love every second!"

    sarah, group class student

  • “mags is truly a blessing. she is incredibly knowledgeable and listens carefully not only to what you say but also to what your body is communicating. she pays close attention to every detail and has an amazing ability to understand exactly what adjustments and corrections are best for you, helping you not only understand the pose better, but also find the version that truly works for your body. she takes the time to listen to your goals and thoughtfully finds the best way to help you achieve them. she is supportive and encouraging, always pushing you to do your best, but in a way that feels respectful and mindful of where you and your body are each day. she is also always happy to adapt whenever something doesn’t feel right."
